Brad York promoter of Lavonia Speedway announced today Lavonia Speedway will be FASTRAK Sanctioned for the 2010 season. This very exciting news came after months of careful consideration from all parties involved. Brad states, “We have spent the majority of the off season researching Lavonia’s options for the crate class. I’ve contacted several drivers who voiced their opinions about what they would like to see, and the number one concern for most was the lack of sanctioning in this class. After researching all options it was decided FASTRAK would be the best decision because of different opportunities offered to the drivers in this series. Another reason Lavonia Speedway chose FASTRAK was the accountbility factor, we want everyone to feel they can come to Lavonia Speedway and compete on a level playing field. We have always had a good working relationship with FASTRAK in the past and we are looking forward to working together once again.”

Brad goes on to say “Everyone at Lavonia Speedway would like to thank the race fans and drivers who have stuck by us during these hard economic times. We are very excited about the 2010 season. We have added the Super Late Models on a bi-weekly basis along with several exciting events such as Late Model Mania, ASCS Sprint Series, National Vintage Racing Association, Summer Showdown, Georgia State Championships and the Night of Legends just to name a few. Along with the new line up of events we are also adding several loads of clay to the speedway. It is our goal to provide the very best dirt track racing possible, and I hope everyone will join us for the 2010 season.”
